Squirrel Friends’ mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release orphaned and injured wildlife back into their natural habitats by supporting the dedicated efforts of individual rehabilitators. We focus on the conservation of North Carolina‘s local and native wildlife in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Through community presence, strategic partnerships and affiliations, we aim to empower our network of rehabilitators to achieve our collective objectives, while ensuring their independence in managing their individual conservation efforts.
